As an Associate Level Social Worker, I’ve witnessed people suffering from the result of public policy. I believe that it’s almost impossible to rehabilitate a person without fixing the system that caused the damage. My mission is to always value the NASW Code of Ethics which states, "The social work profession is to enhance human well-being and help meet the basic human needs of all people, with particular attention to the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty."
